I had my fellowship in Clinical Neurosurgery at Hartford Hospital and the University of Connecticut Health Centre in 1995. This has been valuable experience to me and as a result I recommend that each neurosurgical trainee /resident takes time out for fellowship in a different unit or country to expand knowledge and skills.
